For whom ?

The pre-consular online procedure of Campus France is for students applying for a visa:

To pursue studies in France after obtaining a pre-registration in France
To leave in exchange for more than 90 days as part of a studying program in Egypt
To pass a competition, a selection test, a diploma, a test to validate a program

How ?

It’s all online via the Campus France France platform Etudes en France.

The Études en France platform is entirely dematerialized and allows the management of all registration procedures at a higher education universities up to the visa application. Just create a personal electronic file and follow the online steps.

Please note that the "Etudes en France "procedure does not guarantee either obtaining a pre-registration or issuing a visa.

I am accepted in France, I apply for a student long-stay visa

You must follow the pre-consular procedure Campus France "I am accepted" as soon as you have received a certificate of registration or an internship agreement. This step is mandatory before submitting your file at TLS Contact. It is important to do the pre-consular procedure at least 4 weeks and up to 6 months before the departure date (beyond that, Campus France does not guarantee to be able to process your file on time).

The long-term student visa, or student VLS-TS, allows you to study in France for a period of four months to one year. When it expires, you must apply for a residence permit to stay in France.

Make sure that your passport is valid and that your documents are ready for the French Consulate.

You cannot go directly to TLS Contact without going through Campus France Egypt.
If your study (or internship) stay in France is less than 90 days (3 months), you go directly through TLS Contact and ask for a short-term student visa!

The case of electronic acceptance:

Electronic acceptance is an answer/ acceptance that you receives only on the platform under Part 8 (Institutional responses). It is electronic, in other words without paper.

If your pre-registration follows an application on the platform Etudes en France = electronic acceptance, you just have to finalize the procedure on: https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/

Select " Une acceptation issue de la plateforme Études en France "
Select a program from your application and the host institution.
Indicate the dates of your stay ie the date of the start of the academic year and the date of the end of the program.
Confirm the information and your final choice.

The paper acceptance case:

Paper acceptance is an acceptance in the form of a document / letter that you receive outside the platform, by mail or by post.

If your pre-registration has been obtained outside the Études en France platform = paper acceptance you just have to finalize the procedure on: https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/

Select "I am in another situation" and then "Other" and search for the program you choose in the catalog otherwise describe the program : year of entry, field of study, type of diploma, etc.
Indicate the dates of your stay ie the date of the start of the academic year and the date of the end of the program.
Enter the motivation
Scan the acceptance paper which must mention the date of entry, the level and the program concerned and the language of the program.(French, English, etc.)
Confirm the information and your final choice

You have obtained a certificate of acceptance outside Campus France Egypt, You must, therefore, follow the pre-consular procedure Campus France "I am accepted"

Select a folder "I am accepted"
Select « Une acceptation papier reçue en dehors de la plateforme Études en France »
Select "I am in another situation" and then "Other" and search for the program you choose in the catalog otherwise describe the program: year of entry, field of study, type of diploma, etc.
Indicate the dates of your stay ie the date of the start of the academic year and the date of the end of the program.
Enter the motivation
Scan the acceptance paper which must mention the date of entry, the level and the program concerned and the language of the program.(French, English, etc.).
Confirm the information and your final choice.
After checking your file, Campus France Egypt will verify your file and send you the details regarding the payment of the fees and a notice of pre-consular interview.
After the interview, you can make an appointment with TLS Contact to submit your visa request for the Consulat

Then prepare your documents:

ID ( identity document) - your passport (a scanned copy) and a recent photograph (max 50 KB)

Syllabus and professional experiences - for the baccalaureate “Thanawaya amma” students of the current year: transcripts for 1st and 2nd secondary; For those who have already graduated: Baccalaureate certificate “Thanawaya amma”, transcripts and diplomas of entire syllabus from the baccalaureate and a certificate of registration for the current year (if you are during the course of your studies)

French or English certifications: DELF B2, DALF C1 / C2, TCF ,(or confirmation of registration to one of these exams), IELTS or TOEFL

Professional experience and possible internships- Cv and other certificats
